I am so excited to share our big news!

A Story of Forest Friends has been in the making for the past 12 months. This booklet took many hands to create and will bring joy to every Knitter of Garment & Story. 
A 'Story of Friends' is illustrated through out and includes little anecdotes.

Covering a big age range from 6 months to 16 years and even some Adult sizes.

Knitwear Designer Jessica Anderson  designed 9 garments inspired by 9 individual Winnie the Pooh characters. Shown above are:
Christopher Robin's Cardigan, Rabbit mitts, Owl's hat and Roo's jumper.

Illustrated by Eyla Lienhard, Artwork and Layout by Erin McClure.
Book release will be on the 7th of November 2019 at the Knitting & Stitching Show in Dublin. Orders will be shipped nicely wrapped on the 13th of November or are available for Pick up at our Booth C54.

It is that time of year again! 7-10th of November 2019 in Dublin

We will bring our huge Collection of naturally dyed yarns introdcuing lots of new Colours and two new Yarn bases!
Olann - 60% Irish & 40% New Zealand wool spun in Donegal
and
Aran - An Aran weight Wool yarn, tight twist Wool from South America and spun in Czech Republic 
Both will be available on the website and Etsy Shop by the end of November.

Also NEW: Knitting fork kits (which make fantastic Christmas Presents for little Crafters!) & Natural Dyeing Kits
As well as plenty of Sale Items for the Sale Baskets and our 100% Wool Felt in over 75 colours!

AppleOak FibreWorks' Diary

  •  We are so excited! We are moving AppleOak FibreWorks to its very own Dye House in Tuamgraney, Co. Clare. We are upgrading our Production to a 10kg Dyeing Vat, a Rainwater Harvesting System, a natural Water Filtration system and (I am really excited about that one!) a Wormery! More info in the next newsletter!
  • Job Opening: We have a position for Dyeing Assistant open at the moment. Part time for starters, 3 days a week. If you are interested please send your CV to appleoakfibers@hotmail.com Application Deadline: 10th of November 2019
