Mehrfarbiges Merino-Vlies – Feine Merinowolle

Weiche, fließende Farben und wunderschön glatte Fasern – dieses feine Merino-Vlies kombiniert drei harmonische Farbtöne in jedem Strang, wodurch Tiefe und sanfte Übergänge in Ihren gesponnenen Garnen und Filzarbeiten entstehen.

Mit einem Mikronbereich von 21–27 Mikron sind diese Vliese weich, leicht zu spinnen und vielseitig für eine breite Palette textiler Anwendungen einsetzbar. Die feineren Farbkombinationen bieten außergewöhnliche Weichheit, während leicht höhere Mikronmischungen für etwas mehr Struktur sorgen, ohne den Komfort zu beeinträchtigen.

Flachsfaser-Kammzug

Westeuropäische Leinenfaser

Wunderschöne langstapelige Flachsfaser, gekämmt zu einem glatten, glänzenden Kammzug – bereit zum Spinnen, Nadelfilzen oder Mischen in Kunstvlies.

Dieser Flachs wird vollständig in Westeuropa angebaut und verarbeitet, wo das kühle Klima einige der feinsten Leinenfasern der Welt hervorbringt. Die Faser wird Tauröstung unterzogen, ein traditioneller Prozess, bei dem Feuchtigkeit und Mikroorganismen die Fasern sanft von den Pflanzenstängeln trennen.

Flachs lässt sich am besten mit leicht feuchten Fingerspitzen spinnen, wodurch die Fasern glatt ausgezogen werden und ein starkes, elegantes Leinengarn entsteht.

Steinschaf Kardvlies – 11 Farben

Mittelfeine Wolle | Starker, strapazierfähiger Filz | Nadel- & Nassfilzen

Eine wunderschön gefärbte, mittelfeine Kardvliesmischung, die für starken, zuverlässigen Filz entwickelt wurde.

Diese Faser kombiniert 50 % Steinschaf mit 50 % mulesingfreiem Neuseeland-Merino. Jede Farbgebung ist eine Melange (meliert) aus gefärbten Fasern, gemischt mit natürlich dunkelbrauner oder schwarzer Wolle, wodurch Tiefe, Schatten und eine dimensionalere fertige Oberfläche entstehen.

Das Ergebnis ist ein robuster Filz mit sichtbarer Faserbewegung und reicher Farbvariation.

Ramie Roving

Starke Naturfaser aus der Brennnesselfamilie

Ramie ist eine wunderschöne Pflanzenfaser, die aus der Ramie-Brennnessel (Boehmeria nivea) gewonnen wird, einer traditionellen Textilpflanze, die seit Tausenden von Jahren in Asien verwendet wird.

Die Faser ist von Natur aus weiß mit seidigem Glanz und weist viele Eigenschaften auf, die denen von Flachs/Leinen ähneln. Ramiefasern sind extrem stark, sehr saugfähig und nehmen Farbe wunderschön an.

Im Vergleich zu Flachs ist Ramie etwas gröber, aber Ramiefasern sind von Natur aus sehr lang und stark. Nach der Verarbeitung zu Spinnvlies beträgt die Stapellänge typischerweise etwa 6–15 cm, wodurch sie zum Spinnen und Faservermischen geeignet ist.

Ramie kann auch in der Faser- und Textilkunst, z.B. für Puppenhaare oder dekorative Faserarbeiten, verwendet werden.

Hanffaserband

Starke Naturfaser

Schöne, hochwertige Hanffaser, gekämmt zu einem glatten Spinnvlies. Dieses entgummierte Hanffaserband ist bereit zum Spinnen und für andere Faser-Kunstprojekte.

Hanf ist eine der ältesten Textilfasern, die von Menschen verwendet werden, und stammt aus den Stängeln der Cannabis sativa Pflanze. Als Bastfaser teilt er Eigenschaften mit Flachs und Ramie: stark, haltbar und natürlich glänzend.

Dieser Hanf wurde entgummiert, wobei die natürlichen Pflanzengummen entfernt wurden, damit die Faser beim Spinnen glatter auszieht.

Sie können zwischen zwei Varianten wählen:

• Naturhanf – weiche, beige Naturfaserfarbe
• Sauerstoffgebleichter Hanf – helle, saubere Faser, ideal zum Färben

Hanffasern ergeben starke Garne und verleihen Haltbarkeit und Struktur, wenn sie mit anderen Fasern gemischt werden.

Bheda Wool wird von Hand mit sicheren Schweizer Farben in einem Unternehmen hergestellt und gefärbt, das sich für benachteiligte Frauen einsetzt. Es vereint alle guten Eigenschaften mehrerer Wollarten verschiedener Schafrassen wie Ryeland, Suffolk, Shetland, Romney und Jacob. Die gesamte Wolle stammt aus Neuseeland und ist frei von Musselin.


Filzeignung

Die durchschnittliche Faserdicke beträgt ± 25 Mikrometer, was die Bheda-Wolle zu einer feinen bis mittleren Wolle macht.

Chargenunterschiede

Aufgrund des traditionelleren Ansatzes zur Herstellung der Bheda-Wolle können geringfügige Farbunterschiede von Charge zu Charge auftreten. Daher raten wir bei größeren Bastelprojekten, darauf zu achten, ausreichend auf einmal zu kaufen, um Farbabweichungen zu minimieren.

Tussah-Seidenband

Natürliches Tussah-Seidenband mit einer weich strukturierten Oberfläche und sanftem natürlichem Glanz. Tussah-Seide ist eine Wildseidenfaser, die von eichenfressenden Seidenspinnern produziert wird, deren Kokons die für diese Faser typischen natürlich warmen Honig- und Elfenbeintöne ergeben.

Im Gegensatz zur Maulbeerseide werden Tussah-Kokons oft erst gesammelt, nachdem der Falter auf natürliche Weise geschlüpft ist. Aus diesem Grund wird die Seide häufig als „vegetarische Seide“ bezeichnet. Das Schlüpfen des Falters unterbricht den durchgehenden Filamentfaden, was zu einer kürzeren Stapelfaser führt, die gesponnen oder als Vorgarn vorbereitet wird.

Tussah-Seide ist etwas weniger glatt und glänzend als Maulbeerseide, verleiht aber Garnen und Faser Mischungen einen wunderschönen Charakter, Wärme und natürlichen Glanz. Die Faser ist auch leichter und flauschiger im Griff, was sie sehr angenehm zu spinnen und zu mischen macht.
