Seed to Dye to Seed is our seasonal growing programme, following the complete life cycle of dye plants throughout the gardening year.
Rather than working through a course at speed, we'll meet throughout the seasons, allowing your learning to unfold alongside your plants. Together we'll explore sowing, propagation, cultivation, harvesting, seed saving and preparing the garden for another growing season.
Hosted within the Natural Dyers & Growers Academy, this is an opportunity to learn through observation, discussion and shared seasonal practice.

Meet Your Tutor
Tristan Lienhard is an organic Gardener, professional seed saver and educator working with dye plants specifically across growing, harvesting and processing. Through the Academy, Tristan supports learners in developing a grounded, seasonal understanding of dye plants and seeds — connecting soil, plant and pigment through practical experience.
