Fil de lin solide et net, conçu spécifiquement pour la chaîne.

Ce fil de chaîne 100% lin est filé en Allemagne à partir de lin d'Europe de l'Ouest. Le lin est réputé pour sa solidité exceptionnelle et son comportement net sur le métier à tisser, produisant des ouvertures de foule propres et des structures tissées fermes et bien définies.

*Mousse de chêne provenant de forêts gérées de manière responsable en Macédoine.

Le champagne est la couleur la plus proche que je puisse imaginer pour décrire la couleur obtenue avec la mousse de chêne. Vous pouvez influencer les nuances en ajoutant différents mordants, mais en général, aucun mordant n'est nécessaire.
La mousse de chêne est également utilisée dans la fabrication de savon pour ajouter de la texture et un effet exfoliant au savon.

De Wikipédia
Evernia prunastri, également connue sous le nom de mousse de chêne, est une espèce de lichen. On la trouve dans de nombreuses forêts tempérées montagneuses de l'hémisphère nord, y compris des parties de la France, du Portugal, de l'Espagne, de l'Amérique du Nord et d'une grande partie de l'Europe centrale. La mousse de chêne pousse principalement sur le tronc et les branches des chênes, mais on la trouve aussi couramment sur l'écorce d'autres feuillus et de conifères tels que le sapin et le pin. Les thalles de mousse de chêne sont courts (3-4 cm de long) et touffus, et poussent ensemble sur l'écorce pour former de grandes touffes. Le thalle de mousse de chêne est plat et en forme de ruban. L'écorce de chêne est une source de teinture naturelle riche en tanins, utilisée depuis des siècles pour obtenir des tons chauds et terreux sur la laine et la soie. Grâce à sa forte teneur en tanins, aucun mordant n'est strictement nécessaire, mais cela améliorera la solidité des couleurs. Expérimenter avec du fer et ajouter des galles de chêne peut approfondir ou modifier vos résultats. Des tons beiges plus clairs apparaissent avec un pH plus bas (environ 5), et des marrons plus profonds se développent avec un pH plus élevé (environ 8), bien que le fer soit une solution plus stable pour les tons plus foncés.

5. Refroidir et reposer : Laisser la fibre tremper dans le bain de teinture pendant la nuit pour approfondir la couleur.
6. Rincer et sécher : Rincer la fibre teinte à l'eau froide et suspendre pour sécher.

Yak fibre is among the softest and warmest natural fibres available, offering insulation, breathability, and remarkable softness. Blended with mulberry silk, the yarn gains strength, gentle luminosity, and fluid drape.

Spun as a balanced 3-ply yarn, Yeti combines softness with durability and produces fabrics of remarkable lightness and warmth.

Undyed and presented in its natural shades, this yarn reveals the inherent beauty of yak and silk fibres. Each colour reflects the natural tones of the animals and fibres themselves.

Spun in Mongolia using yak fibre from Tibet and mulberry silk from China, Yeti represents the highest level of fibre craftsmanship.
