Fibre naturelle. Couleur authentique.

There is a particular softness unique to superfine alpaca.
Grown in the high altitudes of the Peruvian Andes, alpaca fibre offers exceptional warmth whilst remaining lightweight, breathable, and gentle against the skin. Naturally free of lanolin, it is especially well suited for those sensitive to sheep’s wool.
Alpaca Fino is a classic Peruvian alpaca yarn — a smooth, balanced 4-ply construction spun from 100% superfine alpaca fibre. It has a gentle natural sheen and an even structure that allows stitch definition to emerge clearly whilst maintaining a soft, fluid drape.
Finished garments feel warm yet light, with a relaxed elegance that makes them easy to wear across seasons. Its drape makes it especially suited to seamless garments, flowing forms, and body-skimming pieces.
From alpaca farmer to spinning mill, the entire production takes place within Peru, supporting regional fibre traditions and local employment.

There is a particular honesty to Donegal tweed.
Born of landscape, weather, and generations of textile tradition, this yarn carries the quiet complexity of the Irish coast — soft greys, moss greens, ocean blues, and the subtle flecking that defines Donegal's characteristic landscape.
Spun and commercially dyed in Kilcar, Co. Donegal, this is an authentic Irish Aran-weight yarn made from 100% pure new wool. It is warm, durable, and deeply satisfying to knit with — the kind of yarn that settles into garments made to be worn for years.
Whether you are knitting a traditional Aran jumper or a contemporary everyday piece, Donegal tweed brings depth, texture, and heritage into every stitch.
• Traditional Aran jumpers

Using Ériu's signature Irish wool blend of Romney lambswool and Bluefaced Leicester, each skein is dyed individually at AppleOak FibreWorks using a wide range of traditional natural dye sources. Colours emerge through layered dyeing, over-dyeing, and careful handling in the dye vat, creating rich multicolour variation across the yarn.
These skeins carry movement, depth, and quiet unpredictability — tones shift along the length of the yarn, revealing themselves fully only when knitted.
The wool is sourced directly from Irish farms and spun in Ireland. Each skein is then naturally dyed in our studio using sustainable methods and a combination of homegrown and traditional natural dye materials.
No two skeins are fully identical.
This collection may include colours created using:

Fíor is a wool yarn brought back to its natural state.
Spun from 100% virgin Peruvian wool and carefully rebalanced with lanolin after spinning, this yarn retains the protective qualities naturally present in raw wool. Lanolin enhances softness, breathability, and moisture resistance, creating a yarn ideally suited to garments worn close to the skin.
Soft yet resilient, Fíor offers gentle elasticity, structure, and durability. Its natural lanolin content provides subtle water resistance and helps the fibre remain clean and fresh between washes.
This yarn is especially valued for baby garments, wool soakers and traditional knitting, where natural fibre performance is essential.
Every stage of production—from fibre to finished yarn—is completed in Peru, supporting regional fibre traditions and ensuring consistent quality.

Our Himalayan nettle yarn is hand-harvested from wild nettle plants growing in Nepal and spun by hand using traditional methods. Untreated and naturally processed using only water and wood ash, it retains the integrity and character of the original fibre.
The yarn carries the quiet irregularity and variation inherent to hand-spun plant fibres. Its natural colours range from soft grey and beige to warm, earthy tones, reflecting the fibre’s origin.
Historically known as “poor man’s linen,” nettle fibre shares many of linen’s qualities — strength, breathability, and durability — whilst offering its own distinct texture and presence.
This yarn is entirely plant-based, biodegradable and produced through ethical small-scale production supporting rural families and traditional fibre knowledge.
