Fibre naturelle. Couleur authentique.

Alpen is a strong, heritage yarn designed for durability, structure and longevity.
Spun from a balanced blend of goat hair and wool, it offers exceptional strength and resilience whilst maintaining enough flexibility to work comfortably on the loom or in handcraft.
Traditionally used for carpets, bags, and structural textiles, this yarn reflects a long history of utilitarian fibre craft.
The goat hair contributes strength, abrasion resistance, and durability, whilst wool provides cohesion and flexibility.
Spun in Switzerland from carefully sourced fibres, Alpen is ideal for textile work requiring stability, structure, and endurance.

This yarn is undyed. Natural variation between skeins reflects the fibre origin.
Cró is a strong, architectural cord made from pure wool spun around a natural jute core.
This construction creates exceptional durability whilst maintaining flexibility, allowing the cord to move naturally in weaving and structural textile work. The wool exterior provides warmth, softness, and grip, whilst the jute core creates stability and strength.
Spun in a beautiful finger-thick structure, Cró is ideal for carpets, seating, poufs and sculptural fibre work. Despite its substantial presence, it is remarkably efficient — requiring relatively little material to cover large surfaces.
Finished textiles are durable, stable, and suitable for everyday use, including vacuum cleaning.
Cró reflects a tradition of structural fibre construction, combining natural materials to create functional, long-lasting textiles.
Fibre: 60% virgin wool, 40% jute core

Natural colourways may show subtle variation reflecting the natural fibre.
Black colourways are dyed for colour consistency.
Lása is a uniquely fine yarn in our range — delicate, luminous, and deeply responsive to natural colour.
Traditionally considered a weaving yarn, its exceptionally fine structure and strength make it equally suited to lace knitting, held double knitting, or carried alongside other yarns to add depth and subtle colour variation.
Its smooth surface allows natural dyes to penetrate deeply, producing rich, saturated colours with beautiful tonal depth whilst remaining softly semi-solid.
Though fine, Lása retains strength and cohesion, making it a joy to work with for lace makers, weavers, and knitters drawn to delicate structures.
The wool is sourced and spun entirely in Peru. Each skein is then naturally dyed at AppleOak FibreWorks using traditional, sustainable natural dye methods and dye materials.
