Bheda Wool wird von Hand mit sicheren Schweizer Farben in einem Unternehmen hergestellt und gefärbt, das sich für benachteiligte Frauen einsetzt. Es vereint alle guten Eigenschaften mehrerer Wollarten verschiedener Schafrassen wie Ryeland, Suffolk, Shetland, Romney und Jacob. Die gesamte Wolle stammt aus Neuseeland und ist frei von Musselin.


Filzeignung

Die durchschnittliche Faserdicke beträgt ± 25 Mikrometer, was die Bheda-Wolle zu einer feinen bis mittleren Wolle macht.

Sicher und fair

Das Färben der Bheda-Wolle erfolgt von Hand mit sicheren Schweizer Farben und wird von einem Unternehmen hergestellt, das benachteiligte Frauen unterstützt. Bheda-Wolle ist in 34 wunderschönen und satten Farben erhältlich.


Chargenunterschiede

Aufgrund des traditionelleren Ansatzes zur Herstellung der Bheda-Wolle können geringfügige Farbunterschiede von Charge zu Charge auftreten. Daher raten wir bei größeren Bastelprojekten, darauf zu achten, ausreichend auf einmal zu kaufen, um Farbabweichungen zu minimieren.

FLACHSROVING ~ Geeignet zum Spinnen und Nadelfilzen

Erhältlich als gebleicht und naturbelassen

Flachsoberteil zum Spinnen, Kardieren, Filzen und für andere Textilarbeiten, hergestellt aus der Flachspflanze.

Das Leinen ist mit dem „Master of Linen“-Zertifikat zertifiziert, was bedeutet, dass es vollständig aus Westeuropa stammt und mit Tau geröstet wurde.

Flachsfasern eignen sich hervorragend zum Nadelfilzen! Viel besser als Bambusfaser.
Zum Drehen: Es hilft, eine kleine Schüssel mit Wasser in der Nähe zu haben und die Finger beim Drehen feucht zu halten. Glätten Sie die langstapeligen Fasern, um ein glattes, strukturiertes Garn zu erhalten.

Von grübelnden freien Bauernhöfen

Diese wunderschön in satten Farben gefärbten Vliese eignen sich sehr gut zum Filzen von Gegenständen, Taschen usw. Die Fasern sind mittellang und ergeben einen starken Filz, sowohl Nadel- als auch Nassfilz. Das Vlies ist eine Mischung aus gefärbtem und dunkelbraun/schwarz, was der Wolle eine zusätzliche Tiefe verleiht.


Die auf dem Bild dargestellten Farben kommen den Originalfarben so nahe wie möglich. Dennoch kann Ihr Bildschirm die unterschiedlichen Farbtiefen des angezeigten Bildes beeinflussen.

RAMIE-ROVING ~ Geeignet zum Spinnen, Puppenhaaren, Färben und Filzen, wenn es mit Wolle gemischt wird

Ramiefaser, eine Brennnesselpflanze, ist weiß mit seidigem Glanz und ähnelt in Saugfähigkeit und Dichte dem Flachs, ist jedoch gröber (25–30 Mikrometer). Als eine der stärksten Naturfasern weist sie eine geringe Elastizität auf und lässt sich leicht färben. Ramiestränge sind bis zu 190 cm lang. Ideal zum Spinnen, Färben und für andere Kunsthandwerke aus Fasern, einschließlich Puppenhaaren. Diese Faser kann mit natürlichen oder handelsüblichen Farbstoffen gefärbt werden (am besten sind faserreaktive Farbstoffe), sogar Haarfärbemittel können verwendet werden (obwohl ich damit keine persönlichen Erfahrungen habe).

KAPOK ~ Samenkapselfaser

Bei der Kapokfaserernte werden die Schoten entweder abgeschnitten oder beim Herunterfallen eingesammelt und dann mit Holzhämmern aufgebrochen. Die von Hand aus den Schoten entnommenen Samen und Fasern werden in einem Korb gerührt; Die Samen fallen zu Boden und lassen die Fasern frei. Kapok ist eine feuchtigkeitsbeständige, schnell trocknende, elastische und schwimmfähige Faser. Die Fasern enthalten sowohl Lignin, einen holzigen Pflanzenstoff, als auch Cellulose, ein Kohlenhydrat. Die unelastische Faser oder Zahnseide ist zum Spinnen zu spröde, wiegt aber nur ein Achtel so viel wie Baumwolle. (Britannia Wikipedia)

A vibrant collection of wool fleece coloured with traditional natural dyes — soft, expressive fibres presented in a harmonious palette of twelve shades.

Each 100 g mixed bag contains a selection of colours created with natural dye sources such as indigo, madder, birch and weld. Some shades are produced using cochineal, a traditional insect dye long used in natural colour work.

The fleece is dyed in Germany using gentle, time-honoured techniques. The wool comes from mulesing-free farms and retains its natural character and lively fibre texture.

Because of the natural dyeing process, the fibres may be slightly pre-felted, giving the fleece a pleasant body and texture. While this can make wet felting a little slower, the fibre remains excellent for needle felting, spinning, blending, weaving and textile art.
