I love dyeing these buttons. I tried several different kinds of materials, but I found that these were the most beautiful.
Made from natural Vegetable Ivory also known as Tagua, these buttons are carved from a seed, a nut produced by various different kinds of palm trees.
A beautiful marbled look is revealed when they are dyed, making each individual button unique. Due to the nature of natural dyes, dye lots vary greatly.
