LALU LINEN CREPE – Soft Two-Tone Open Weave Linen
Origin: Europe | Width: Approx. 144 cm

Orders of several lengths will always be cut in one piece unless otherwise instructed.

LALU LINEN CREPE is a beautifully textured linen with a softly structured drape. It shares many qualities with our other crepe linens, but with its own unique charm — a two-tone weave of natural beige and white, creating depth and softness in both look and feel.

Its open weave creates airy pockets that offer breathability in warm weather while helping retain warmth when the temperature drops. Light, flowy, and comforting, LALU is ideal for clothing, scarves, and gentle interior textiles.

The Fabric

Woven from 100% natural linen, this fabric is slightly sheer, softly crinkled, and textured without being rough. At 129 g/m², it’s lightweight yet substantial, and the airy weave allows it to feel insulating without bulk. Not prewashed, it will shrink slightly and soften beautifully after its first wash.

The Environment

Linen is naturally sustainable — requiring little water, no synthetic chemicals, and growing well even in poor soil. Every part of the flax plant is used, making it a zero-waste, fully biodegradable textile that stands the test of time.

Health & Comfort

Breathable, hypoallergenic, and anti-static, linen is an excellent choice for sensitive skin, particularly in warmer weather. It helps regulate temperature and supports overall comfort, especially for those experiencing heat sensitivity or skin irritation.

Care

Linen thrives with gentle use. Wash at 60–90°C with reduced spin, then hang to dry dripping wet. Over time, the fabric will soften further and mould to the body or form with ease. Avoid ironing — the creases are part of the charm and structure of this naturally elegant fabric.
