Elegant, soft and feather-light, NUVOLA ANTHRACITE is a fine Italian merino single jersey in a versatile anthracite grey. Made from 100% mulesing-free merino wool, it combines gentle stretch, a smooth touch and natural breathability — ideal for base layers, babywear, lightweight tops and refined everyday garments.
This is merino at its most wearable: whisper-soft, naturally elastic and comfortable year-round.
Knitted in Italy from fine, fibre-dyed merino wool, Nuvola Anthracite has a soft, smooth surface and fluid drape, making it particularly suitable for garments worn close to the skin.
At just 166 g/m², it is a beautifully lightweight jersey, providing the natural warmth and temperature regulation of merino without unnecessary bulk.
The anthracite colour is a sophisticated dark grey — softer than black and exceptionally versatile for both clothing and accessories.

Fine merino jerseys may show a slight diagonal grain from production. Align pattern pieces with the knit direction rather than the selvedge to help prevent twisting.
Use a ballpoint or jersey needle and a gentle stretch or zigzag stitch. After washing, reshape while damp and dry flat to preserve elasticity and structure.
Merino refreshes naturally — brush lightly and air overnight between wears. When washing is needed, hand-wash cold (or use a delicate 30 °C wool cycle) with mild wool detergent.
Do not wring; reshape and dry flat. Avoid tumble drying, bleach or hot ironing; a light steam or press cloth is sufficient.
