Facilities, Equipment & Water Systems in a Working Dye Studio | Dyeworks Conversations
Behind the scenes of a dye studio: facilities, equipment & water systems
New here? Dyeworks: Real Conversations are part of the Natural Dyers & Growers Academy — an online learning and community space for people working with natural dyes, fibres and studio practice.
From November to May each year, we host Dyeworks sessions during the winter months, when many of us have more space for reflection, questioning and shared learning. These are informal, conversational gatherings rather than structured classes. Topics are decided on during the year by what feels most relevant.
This page introduces one of those Dyeworks sessions, focused on facilities, equipment, and water systems in a working dye studio.
👉 The 15-minute video preview can not be uploaded to this page, unfortunately.
To watch it, you’ll need to join the free Community noticeboard inside the Academy. Joining is free and gives you access to this short preview, along with other sneak peaks, open community posts and updates.
That 15-minute extract offers a glimpse into a much longer, two-hour conversation exploring how real studio systems evolve through use, adjustment and practical decision-making.
The full recording is available inside the Membership space of the Academy - Co~Lab rooms. 2 weeks free trial - 45€/year
Tickets for upcoming Dyeworks sessions can also be purchased here, if you prefer to not purchase a membership:
