Every pack is different. At AppleOak FibreWorks, we believe beautiful materials deserve to be used.

Our Creative Fibre Packs are carefully assembled from the wonderful assortment of natural fibres, fabrics and textiles that pass through our studio. Rather than letting these beautiful remnants go to waste, we give them the opportunity to inspire new ideas and creative projects.

Each pack is completely unique and contains a carefully selected mixture of materials from our workshop. Some pieces may be naturally dyed by us, others may be undyed or commercially produced natural fibres. Every bundle offers a surprise waiting to be discovered.

LINEN CREPE – Light Beige Open Weave Linen Fabric

An absolute gem of a fabric. This Linen Crepe is woven from high-twist linen yarn, giving it a gently crinkled texture and soft drape. The light grey-beige tone and open weave create a cloth that is both airy and elegant — perfect for warm-weather garments and unique home textiles.

The Fabric

Lightweight, breathable, and soft, this cloth has an almost gossamer feel while remaining strong and structured. The twist in the yarn adds a gentle texture, which enhances drape and movement. This fabric is especially beautiful for garments that need flow: think skirts, dresses, blouses, scarves, and curtains that move with the breeze.

The Environment

Linen is a low-impact, sustainable fibre. Flax grows with little water and thrives in poor soil. Every part of the flax plant is used—from textiles to varnish—making it one of the most resource-efficient fibres available.

Health & Comfort

100% linen is breathable, antibacterial, and excellent for sensitive skin, especially in hot weather. It helps regulate temperature and is often favoured by those prone to prickly heat or hot flushes. Lightweight, cooling, and naturally hypoallergenic.

Care

Linen doesn’t need ironing — its natural creasing becomes part of the look. With every wash, it becomes softer and more supple. Unlike cotton, it is more durable and long-lasting, with strength that increases when wet. Hang to dry dripping wet for best results.

Premium Wool Felt in One-Off Sizes

These wool felt pieces are offcuts from our premium 1.2 mm wool felt range and are offered as individual, one-off pieces in specific colours and sizes.

Unlike our mixed offcut bundles, these are substantial felt cuts suitable for complete projects in their own right. They are ideal when you need a particular colour but do not require one of our standard sheet sizes.

Made from 100% mulesing-free wool, these pieces offer the same quality, durability and beautiful texture as our full-size felt sheets.

Felted Wool Fabric also known as Wool walk, felted wool or walked wool


This lovely walked and felted woolen fabric is the perfect for the cooler months of the year. Light but warm, like any felted wool fabric, the cut edges don't fray, no seams necessary.

Warm, but breathable, this would make a lovely cardigan, waist coat, cape, jumper, skirt, coat, jacket, poncho, shawl, leg or hand warmers, children's clothing and even cushion covers or blankets. Also sleeping bags for babies or hot water bottle covers can be made from this fabric.

Endless opportunities and even off cuts can be used for decorations.
