Top of the Morning ~ single printed pattern**
The perfectly basic crewneck top for chilly mornings and beyond. Developed especially for Apple Oak Fibre Works LinCot, this pattern is ideal for showcasing unevenly spun yarns, yarns with textural interest, and yarns with dramatic colour variegation. Got a sweater’s quantity of your first handspun? Rainbow yarn acquired on a whim? Or perhaps some cotton bouclé? This is the pattern.
Top of the Morning is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan sleeve construction and classic ‘sweatshirt’ proportions. Subtle details include twisted rib edgings and short row shaping for extra lower back coverage. Suitable for advanced beginners.
