The long snakes it creates are perfect for imaginary play, from skipping ropes to fishing lines & snakes in the grass to cattle fences. The chunky yarn (Stockholm Range) is naturally dyed by us.The idea behind this little kit came from my once 5 year old son, who loved knitting with his knitting fork and wanted to give one to his friend as a birthday present. We thought it would be lovely to roll up a few balls too and give it all in a pull string cotton bag to keep it all together. Roisin (Pronounced Ro-sheen) was delighted and two days later my little one received a lovely friendship bracelet from Roisin made by using the knitting fork.
TO MAKE IT MORE INTERESTING FOR 6+YEAR OLD CHILDREN, we have added the option of including a pair of Birchwood Knitting needles. Making it a perfect Starter Pack.

One ball of naturally dyed yarn will create a rope of almost 4m length and there are 4 balls in the big kit, creating a total of 16m!
