Rich in colour and character, ORGANIC PLAID MOORLANDS is a beautifully textured felted wool knit (Wollwalk) woven in an expressive plaid of rust, soft yellow, blue and mauve, grounded by orderly threads of black.
Warm, versatile and remarkably easy to work with, this Italian-made fabric transforms effortlessly into coats, skirts, and throws. Simply cut — no hemming required.

The Fabric

Made in Italy from soft, high-quality wool, Organic Plaid Moorlands is fibre-dyed for lasting colour depth and natural variation. The walked texture (300 g/m²) combines warmth, breathability, and durability, while the plaid pattern (repeat approx. 27 × 22 cm) offers visual rhythm and handmade appeal.

Edges can be cut cleanly without fraying — making it ideal for simple, timeless designs.

Care

Wool walk is naturally self-cleaning and needs washing only rarely.
Brush gently and air overnight in fresh air to restore freshness.
If needed, hand wash cold with a mild wool detergent or choose professional cleaning (P).
Reshape while damp and dry flat. Avoid tumble drying, bleach and high heat.

Lanada is a plush soft wool knit in a textured ripped look. It is wonderfully soft and sports an array of colours from misty greys to blacks, beige to chocolate.
