Under Jersey is the base fabric used in traditional doll making, including Steiner / Waldorf dolls. It forms the first textile layer placed over the wool ball, shaping and stabilising the head before the outer doll jersey is applied.
This high-quality double-knit cotton under jersey is knitted in the round, creating a smooth, seam-free tube that is strong, stable, and well suited to firm shaping and stitching.
