27 Micron | 100 g | 12 Shades | 100% Mulesing-Free Wool | Dyed in Germany
A vibrant collection of wool fleece coloured with traditional natural dyes — soft, expressive fibres presented in a harmonious palette of twelve shades.
Each 100 g mixed bag contains a selection of colours created with natural dye sources such as indigo, madder, birch and weld. Some shades are produced using cochineal, a traditional insect dye long used in natural colour work.
The fleece is dyed in Germany using gentle, time-honoured techniques. The wool comes from mulesing-free farms and retains its natural character and lively fibre texture.
Because of the natural dyeing process, the fibres may be slightly pre-felted, giving the fleece a pleasant body and texture. While this can make wet felting a little slower, the fibre remains excellent for needle felting, spinning, blending, weaving and textile art.

Carded New Zealand Merino with cotton neps
These beautifully dyed carded merino batts contain small cotton neps that create a subtle Donegal-style tweed effect when spun.
The fibre is made from 100% New Zealand Merino wool (27 micron) blended with cotton dots. The relatively short fibres make this preparation especially suitable for strong felts, whether needle felted or wet felted.
When spun, the cotton neps appear as small speckles throughout the yarn, giving a lively tweed texture reminiscent of traditional Donegal yarns.
