A very high quality, thin Prefelt, ideal for creating delicate felt pieces. It makes the laying out of big felting projects a lot easier and allows for more precise felting, too. No loose bits of fleece or roving moving back and forth. Simply cut your prefelt to your desired size, lay your design onto it and felt the lot into one piece.
I use the prefelt for needle felting pictures, but I do have to lay the felt at lease double. I included some pictures for you to see. The swans are needle felted on light blue and the rabbit on white prefelt.
