An atelier studio blend of 50% extrafine Merino und 50% Silk. Made for fibre artist who are looking for that little extra. This wool has an unusually high Silk content and is blended with the finest Merino wool of 19mic. Designed to be particularly effective in wet felting clothing and bespoke accessories. The colour range was designed by Artists for Artists and will give your work softness, sheen and hardly any weight. Because of its low micron content, it is featherlight and a small amount will last for a while.

Individual Colour Collection

Bheda wool is a versatile felting wool available in a wide range of rich, vibrant colours.

This wool combines the best characteristics of several sheep breeds including Ryeland, Suffolk, Shetland, Romney and Jacob, resulting in a balanced fibre that felts easily and creates smooth, durable felt.

The wool originates from New Zealand sheep farms and is guaranteed mulesing-free.

Each colour is dyed by hand using safe Swiss dyes, creating a palette of beautiful colours suitable for both beginners and experienced fibre artists.

Ethical Production

Bheda wool is dyed in a workshop that provides employment opportunities for underprivileged women, supporting socially responsible production and fair working conditions.

Batch Differences

Because Bheda wool is dyed using traditional hand-dyeing methods, slight colour differences between batches may occur.

Flax Top Fibre Roving

Western European Linen Fibre

Beautiful long-staple flax fibre combed into a smooth, lustrous top—ready for spinning, needle felting or blending into art batts.

This flax is grown and processed entirely in Western Europe, where the cool climate produces some of the finest linen fibres in the world. The fibre is dew-retted, a traditional process in which moisture and microorganisms gently separate the fibres from the plant stems.

Flax spins best with lightly damp fingertips, allowing the fibres to draft smoothly and producing a strong, elegant linen yarn.

Choose between two preparations:

• Natural flax – unbleached fibre in its natural silver-beige tone
• Bleached flax – clean white linen fibre ideal for dyeing

Medium-Fine Wool | Strong, Durable Felt | Needle & Wet Felting

A beautifully dyed, medium-fine carded fleece blend designed for strong, reliable felt.

This fibre combines 50% Stone Sheep with 50% mulesing-free New Zealand Merino. Each colourway is a melange (heathered) blend of dyed fibre mixed with naturally dark brown or black wool, creating depth, shadow, and a more dimensional finished surface.

The result is a robust felt with visible fibre movement and rich colour variation.

Soft Merino Wool with Flowing Colour

This fine 21 micron Merino roving features flowing, painted colour transitions that move gradually through the fibre. Unlike blended roving, the colours are applied in long sections, creating natural striping and gentle gradients when spun.

Ramie Roving

Strong Natural Fibre from the Nettle Family

Ramie is a beautiful plant fibre derived from the ramie nettle (Boehmeria nivea), a traditional textile plant used for thousands of years in Asia.

The fibre is naturally white with a silky lustre and shares many characteristics with flax/linen. Ramie fibres are extremely strong, highly absorbent and take dye beautifully.

Compared with flax, ramie is slightly coarser but ramie fibres are naturally very long and strong. After processing into roving the staple length is typically around 6–15 cm, making it suitable for spinning and fibre blending.

Ramie can also be used in fibre art and textile projects such as doll hair or decorative fibre work.
