Soft Natural Fibre for Spinning, Blending & Felting
Beautifully soft camel hair roving in warm natural fawn and hazelnut tones. This fibre comes from the fine undercoat of the camel, with all coarse guard hairs removed.
At approximately 20 microns, camel down is comparable in softness to fine merino while offering gentle warmth and a smooth spinning experience.
Camel hair drafts easily and naturally keeps your hands dry while spinning, helping the fibre flow smoothly from the hand.
• Hand spinning
• Fibre blending
• Wet felting (blended with wool)
• Soft yarns and lightweight textiles
Camel hair can be felted, but performs best when blended with wool to provide additional structure and stability.
• 100% camel hair (fine undercoat)

Hand wash finished items gently in lukewarm water and dry flat. Avoid strong agitation.
