✨ Dyeworks: Real Conversations is a series of open, guided discussions exploring the real management questions behind running a sustainable dye studio.
These sessions are informal yet professional spaces for reflection, knowledge exchange and community learning — hosted by Jennifer (AppleOak FibreWorks & NDGA).

How do we keep our studios safe, healthy and environmentally responsible — for ourselves, our helpers and our surroundings?
In this Dyeworks session, we’ll share approaches to handling mordants and dyestuff safely, improving ventilation, and building a sustainable studio culture.
🌿 We’ll discuss:
• Safe handling, ventilation and waste
• Sustainable waste streams and studio culture
• Communicating safe practice to assistants and students

The Co~Lab Rooms are the Natural Dyers & Growers Academy’s interactive membership area — a professional space for continued conversation, shared resources and community learning.
All Dyeworks sessions take place inside the Co~Lab Room via Zoom, with recordings and discussion threads available afterwards.
You don’t need to be a member to join the conversation — but if you’d like to take part in the ongoing discussions afterwards, a Co~Lab Room membership might be your better option.
