Thick, cozy and completely natural socks made from 65% Wool and 35% Alpaca. perfect for everyday use and useful in spring and autumn as well as winter. These fluffy socks also make great bed companions! Our leg & Handwarmers pair up perfectly with this lovely sock, also available in long!

COMPOSITION
- 65% sheep wool 
- 35% alpaca wool

NOTE: There is a thin elastic thread in the cuff only, to keep the sock up.

NOTE: SIZING. Our socks are made in Italy and therefore sized according to EU standards. Sizes up to 42/43 are considered women's, while sizes 42/43 and above are considered men's. Consequently, the suggested US sizes are likely based on women's sizes. Please contact us if you are unsure about your size. For a man's foot, considered normal to large, the size would be EU44+.

WASH
- These should be ideally hand washed (or machine washed on a delicate cycle at 30° with a gentle wool detergent)
- Do not tumble, dry clean, iron or bleach
- Hang to dry

CARE
Footwear could have a major influence on the lifetime of your socks. If the insides or insoles of your shoes are lumpy or worn, it can damage your socks more easily.

Wear your wool socks once every 2-3 days allowing wrinkles to smooth out and fibers to recover naturally. No need to wash after every wear.

Put cedar balls, lavender or other moths protecting material to your socks drawer to prevent them from early deterioration.

Take good care of your feet. It can prevent snags and tears on your socks.

SIZING
Available in sizes from 35 to 47 

*There are a few elastane strings on top to help socks stay in place. If you have any allergic reaction to any material or fiber, please let us know upfront before placing an order.

In addition, if you have any concerns regarding elastane and its environmental impact, please remove it when you believe your socks are no longer helpful and send/bring it back to us. We are working hard to find a bio-degradable alternative but in the meantime, repetitive use of elastane is the most sustainable option available. We will donate used elastane to the manufacturers of recycled polymer products.

We also recommend hand washing to prolong the life of your socks and the small amount of elastic used.

This European Merino Wool 27 micron wool roving is available in 60 trendy colours including 10 trendy mixed colours and several mixed blends. This wool is dyed with synthetic dye from Switzerland according to the standards of Oeko-Tex 100 and EU Ecolabel for textile products.

Responsibly Produced

This soft wool is produced in Europe, closer to home than your regular merino wool! The wool is produced on small farms in Europe and is mulesing free. 

Perfect for Felting, Spinning and Knitting

This European Merino Wool roving is a soft, voluminous and affordable all-round wool. It is great for wet felting as well as for needle felting, spinning and of course for XXL chunky knitting. All fibers align in the same direction and the roving has a regular thickness, making it an easy wool to knit with.

How long is this roving?

Wool is usually sold per weight. But sometimes you want to know how long the wool roving is. We have calculated the roving length of the different packages below:

• 50 grams = approx. 2 meters
• 250 grams = about 10 meters
• 1 kilo = about 40 meters
• Bump of 4.5 kilos = approx. 180 meters

Please note that this is an approximation. The length can vary per type of wool, per colour or per production. And the harder you pull, the longer the roving becomes.

Would you want to make sure you get the wool roving in one piece?

We try our best to deliver the roving in one piece. But please count in that even when we try our best we don’t always succeed. Sometimes we have no choice but to deliver the desired quantity in two or more pieces.
